Not Quite Straight Scarf
This pattern is easily adapted for any gauge and any yarn.
This scarf is knit on the bias and has squared ends (versus the points that many bias scarves have). It’s a very versatile, reversible scarf that is also unisex. I recommend knitting this scarf long.
Blocking the scarf does wonders for this pattern - it really makes a difference. Before blocking, the bands of reverse stockinette stitch roll - after blocking, they flatten out remarkably.

9 to 5 Sock
These socks remind me of how I feel after working from nine in the morning until five at night, sometimes more than just five days a week. I get all wound up! The sock also has a dressier quality to it, so it can be a work sock as well.
These socks feature a deceptively simple stitch pattern that looks like it would require a cable needle – but it doesn’t! The heel has a woven look that perfectly compliments the two spirals that continue down each side of the heel flap. This sock also features a special method of picking up the heel stitches – a way which places the column of selvedge stitches on the outside of the sock, creating a decorative braid that further sets off the heel. This sock is very stretchy because of the ribbed nature of the stitch pattern.

Strangling Vine Scarf
I designed this lightweight, airy scarf during my fantastic summer in New York. It’s a pretty simple design, but a lot of people have enjoyed the pattern… so I wrote it up for everyone to enjoy. This pattern is free - with the caveat that you had to do a random act of kindness. I ask that you find at least one (but hopefully many) opportunity to do a random act of kindness. It could be as simple as dropping a few spare coins in the meter - of the car next to yours!
If you don’t mind… hop on over to this post - and let me know what your RAOK was!
